Every option using a "dropdown image" will automatically display directly in the category page, showing these swatches right below the thumbnail of your products.
This module only displays to your top set of options configured as dropdown image. The images displayed will be the exact image assigned to the product option. This will be installed on your default category layout (category_0.html).
